If you have recently come accross a website, that has warned you about certain trust/security issues, this could mean the following:
- The SSL certificate on the website has expired
- The SSL certificate used on the website is self generated or not well reputed
- The time on your computer is not correct (this is a possibility, make sure the system clock is shows the correct time and date).
An example of such an error can be seen below. This comes from Firefox. Chrome, IE and Safari have their own ways of displaying such errors.
