WordPress Error: “The requested theme does not exist” in Theme Editor

Here is a quick one. While there can be a gazillion reasons why that happens, chances are there its happening because of special characters in your theme name in style.css. This happened to me when I had “&” character in the theme name. Get rid of it and voila !
